Russell graduated from Ruston High School in 2004, LSU in 2008, and LSU Law in 2011. In law school, Russell finished #1 in his legal writing and appellate advocacy class, competed on the Sports Law moot court team (semi-finalist), and argued in the annual Flory Trial competition (finalist). Upon graduation, Russell quickly built a diverse civil practice representing valued clients all across north Louisiana.
In 2018, Russell was elected by his colleagues to represent the 7th District of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division, which is essentially all of northeast Louisiana.
In his spare time, Russell enjoys bow-hunting deer, sight-casting redfish and taking jogs with his pup Mako and wife, Gabrielle.
